Legion ‘Sons’ Charter Garrison American Legion Post Commander Brad Wilson, right, received the charter for the newly formed Sons of the American Legion from Detachment Commander Gerald Puetz, Wyndmere, at the 5th District Legion meeting held in Washburn on September 12. To be eligible to join the SAL, you must be a male descendant, (includes stepsons and adopted sons) of a member of the American Legion or a veteran who died during service or subsequent to his or her honorable discharge from the service.
